KOTA KINABALU: Scores of volunteers visited the sea gypsies (locally known as Pelau) and residents of Omadal Island off Sabah's Semporna district recently.

Scores of volunteers visited the sea gypsies and residents of Omadal Island off Sabah's Semporna district recently.

In a move to help these communities and educate them on environmental protection, the Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry, together with the Semporna Tourism Association, organised the volunteer programme.
