Selena Gomez shared that Rare Beauty and Sephora are honoring World Mental Health Day by fundraising for the Rare Impact Fund.

Since Selena Gomez launched Rare Beauty in 2020, the brand has taken on a mental health initiative. One of the biggest efforts Gomez and the brand have put forth is the Rare Impact Fund. The donation drive aims to raise $100 million over the course of ten years so that mental health resources can be provided to youth regardless of socioeconomic class. “The Rare Impact Fund is committed to expanding access to mental health services and education for young people everywhere.

In an Instagram video, Gomez talked about the importance of mental health to her and her brand. She then announced that Sephora will be donating all of Rare Beauty’s sales to the Rare Impact Fund for 24 hours to honor World Mental Health Day on October 10. She even provided an update on their success as well. According to Gomez, the Rare Impact Fund has given resources to 25 recipients and expanded their outreach globally since the launch in 2020.
