Covid cases are on the rise once again in the UK, so it is vital to know exactly what you should do if you catch the illness.

The symptoms remain similar to flu with the NHS listing the main symptoms as having a high temperature or shivering, a continuous cough, change to taste or smell, shortness of breath, feeling exhausted, aches, sore throat, blocked or runny nose, loss of appetite, diarrhoea and feeling sick.Most people will feel better within the days or weeks following their first symptoms. The NHS also says most will make a full recovery within 12 weeks although it can be more serious.
