It will be the end of UK farming as they will be unable to compete against imported meat or export to EU if they drop standards on animal welfare,food production. Hope UK supermarkets will inspect US farms and meat plants like they inspect EU suppliers now.

Can I just explain this mythology for you for one moment, America doesn’t actually chlorinate chicken! Peracetic acid is used for the most part and has been approved by the European Food Safety Agency. No need to let pesky facts get in the way of an established bias though!
More concerned about the antibiotics & growth hormones they pump into their meat tbh..... that and the idea that US food standards seem to be based on a need to prove food is bad before a ban, whilst in the EU need producers to prove it is good for a licence🤷♂️
