LA Tenorio now cancer-free — Cone

Cone, who is also head coach of Barangay Ginebra, said during Tuesday's press briefing on Gilas Pilipinas roster changes that Tenorio, who will serve as his assistant for Gilas in the upcoming Asian Games, had finished his final check-ups from Singapore, where doctors said he is free from cancer.

'He's finished with all of his chemo[therapy] sessions, he's been declared cancer-free, and he told them within days, he can start practicing,' Cone said.Tenorio on Tuesday said on his X handle, 'God is good!'He will join Cone and the Gilas players for the team's training camp at the Inspire Sports Academy in Laguna.
