Hotelier gives blunt assessment of mental health support but says attitudes are changing

Organisers hope to eventually offer the course nationally as part of supporting employers' duty of care for staffhis fellow facilitators from The Barstool Project"Mental health is such a cagey subject that people don't feel comfortable talking about it, but working behind a bar and talking with customers, you almost fall into the role of an accidental counsellor," Mr Stevens said.

The course is in its early stages and only a few have been delivered to hospitality venues in Wollongong.
