A couple fighting to bring a puppy they rescued in the Phillipines back home have shared a video of their dog joyfully discovering his first ever blades of grass.Peso was crying when Chloe and Alex found him tied to a lamp post, but the recent video shows just how far he has come.The puppy – who the couple believe had been abused – rolls and plays in the green grass in the heartwarming footage.
After negotiating with the dog’s owner the couple managed to take the dog to a vet who told them Peso was half the weight he should have been as well as severely malnourished and dehydrated.Blood tests also found that his red blood cell count was also severely down.
