“Immediately he confirmed his identity, the men shot him. Those that attacked him were three in number. They fled the area and people ran in different directions to avoid being attacked. The incident happened around 8:40pm Thursday at Pako Area.
“Relations of the deceased prevented security operatives from taking away his remains for autopsy. He was buried Friday around 8:30am,” Temitayo said. Contacted for confirmation, the spokesperson of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Kehinde Adeleke, said the incident was reported to the command.
