Clinical Veterinarian

Perform veterinary rounds as scheduled, and provide clinical care and preventive medicine support.

Assist in training for laboratory animal residents, veterinary technicians, and research staff. Training may include veterinary diagnostics, techniques and minor surgical procedures.Ensure that reports and other materials are prepared and submitted as required. Licensed Veterinarian by the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. Provisional license is accepted at the time of hire, however, Veterinary License by the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners must be obtained within six months of hire.Completion of an American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine approved residency training program in Laboratory Animal Medicine.Must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in at least one state of the USA.
