I knew it, I knew it was someone else's fault that I'm a fatty!!

It’s not confusing at all, microwaveable ready meals and junk food are not healthy; if you want healthy, cook fresh food from scratch. Simples.

Don't forget the 'high in protein' label on everything too, just to make it seem extra good

Jeez I’m so sick of everything being somebody else’s fault. If your buying ready meals nutritional qualities are right ther in the front you have to be a fool to blame others when you choose to put in in the frilly. And the all those who were in any doubt there 🚦right there!!

They’ve been doing this for years!

Supermarkets mislead on weight, prices, ingredients . Comparing items is difficult and the information is often disguised . A universal ‘user friendly language’ (specified terms for all) for customers is urgent , so customers can make informed decisions .

If you still believe and continue to push the 70s fake news, promoted by the food manufacturers, that saturated fat is bad for you, there is little hope of curing the obesity and T2 diabetes crisis. fatismyfriend LCHF

too bloody right they are-seen the size of a mars bar these days-austerity size

I saw a TV advert for Cheerios recently, making out that the sugar-rich cereal was healthy and good for all the family!

I Never buy ready meals, always cook from scratch, but come on, are people that stupid that high fat, high saturated fat, high salt would be deemed health?

If people are so concerned about the dietary needs (or just fussy in some cases ) why on earth are they not cooking at home? why are they buying all this praccessed crap? the rise in old childhood illnesses rearing their head, an appalling rise in cancer PROCESSED FOODS!

So that’s the Government, the media andnow supermarkets joining in the great public deception

No precooked food should be labelled as healthy, fullstop.

panadrama?

Supermarkets are there to make money. They're not interested in your health or whether you're fat. So... cook from scratch, eat a little bit less than you'd like, have an occasional treat and move about a bit. Job done.

Low carb diet, low in carbohydrates/sugars has had profound benefits for diabetes, obesity. High fat also slows the absorption of carbohydrates, as does whole unprocessed foods. The jury is still debating whether fats are really such a problem, or carbohydrates are the culprit.

Nowt new then

The public should be better educated. It starts at school.

All food should be cooked from scratch, only then you can control what is going in. It’s also the best way to keep a healthy weight. The best foods are raw vegetables, beans & lentils. Always take away the fibre from the carb figure, to get the net carb. Veg are high fibre.

We aren’t stupid. We buy what w enjoy. We know what the Health Food packages look like and avoid them.

Low, low calorie pizza, just for you...

Ingredients include Lark's Vomit AND Seahorse. No nuts though so it's fine.

Could be worse

Fools and their money are soon parted.

The correct information is on the packet so people can read it. However, it’s still false advertising if it’s placed in a section labelled “healthier” while actually less healthy than the alternatives. So people should check, but also action should be taken against supermarkets.

The information is there. In the picture you provide, it's clear as bloody day. On a pack of anything, usually bottom-left. If you paid for it, consumed it and enjoyed it, shut up. If you don't want it, shut up and buy something else.

Quite late thou

I don't know if I should go get some soy milk from the fridge, or start a craps game from this picture. Crap 12? Contrast; Repetition; Alignment; Proximity? Seven Out! Cocktails! Cocktails...

WHAT'S NEW?

Not today PC Brigade! FakeNews 🙄🙄

Fools believe that Vegan is healthier, when it isn't necessarily. Make your lifestyle choice and live it. The information is on the packets, if you can't read it, your problem!

cook yer own tings innit

It's not the supermarkets. It's the manufacturers.

Best way to know what you're eating, is cook it yourself from fresh!

I cook myself every day. Only a lazy mad person can buy that “food”.

The same supermarkets that predict prices after brexit will increase by 50% without any proof. Are are milky every penny out of the public. They all need to be investigated
