pbenedetti & wmacphail respond to Globe and Mail on-site chiropractor's opinion piece.
Why is the writing misleading headlines?
The number of vertebral artery dissections I have seen on CT post chiro neck manipulation is very disturbing. It’s all a scam.
My chiropractor fixes me when I need it. I always say that it's a magical experience! I've tried several others in the past and they didn't do anything but Dr. Jakym in Whitby has made my life better!
Key. Even supporting data hardly convincing Cochrane: no evidence supports/refutes that chiro provides 'a clinically meaningful difference'. Build a prof around possible 'moderate short-term improvements'? (note: no sham arm).
Chiropractors are bullshit … via outline
Actual chiropractic Pre-Natal chart showing diseases subluxation can cause and can be treated by chiros (acne, whooping cough, asthma) etc. No evidence to support this!!
Via CanFamPhysician: Is spinal manipulative therapy effective (mostly used by chiropractors) for low back pain?
By BenCanMag: Dubious chiropractic claims show need for more scrutiny on paramedical expenses
That’s an odd headline for a piece that cites no evidence whatsoever.
But still no evidence support it!
Not legit evidence
