They are among the 635 younf scientists selected globally Nominations to the Nobel Laureate Meeting open annually Five young scientists will represent Malaysia in the 72nd Nobel Laureate Meetings in Lindau, Germany, from 25 to 30 June 2023. They are among 635 selected young scientists globally who will interact with about 40 Nobel Laureates in a meeting dedicated to Physiology and Medicine.

Nominations to the Nobel Laureate Meeting open annually

The five scientists are Dr Liyana Azmi, 34 , Dr Norhasmira Mohammad, 33 , Dr Wong Yin How, 35 , Dr Afifah Mohamed, 33 and Dr Wong Sok Kuan, 34 . "MOSTI emphasises the need to provide opportunities for young Malaysian scientists to participate in globally recognised programs, such as the Nobel Laureate Meetings," said MOSTI Minister Chang Lih Kang.
