Scissor Sister Charlotte Mulhall is set to have her hopes of an imminent prison release dashed - as she could be forced to spend another ten years behind bars.
Mulhall, who has been given numerous days out to see family, had hoped her latest pleas to the parole board would see her granted full freedom this year - but sources say that is now unlikely. “There is a feeling that she’s another ten years or so to go yet,” a source said. The decision to release Mulhall will fall to the parole board, which is understood to still be assessing her application - along with the rubber stamp of the Minister for Justice Helen McEntee.
Under temporary release the killer would be required to sign on, and notify authorities of her whereabouts at all times. While Charlotte stabbed Noor, Linda struck him with a hammer - with the sisters claiming he had tried to rape one of them. They then chopped up his remains inside the bathroom of their mother’s apartment.
