Police are investigating an incident of livestock worrying after a goat was left needing veterinary treatment following an attack by a dog.

The incident happened in Llandew'r-Cwm area near Builth Wells around midday on Thursday. The Rural Crime Team at Dyfed-Powys Police said:"A dog was witnessed attacking a goat, resulting in vet treatment for bite injuries to the neck and rear leg areas.
