Traore, 27, was a free agent following his exit from Wolverhampton Wanderers at the end of last season. He has now signed a two-year deal, with the option of a third.
Fulham targeted Traore as they were keen to strengthen in wide areas following the departures of Dan James, Manor Solomon and Neeskens Kebano over the summer. James returned to Leeds United after his loan stay, Solomon joined Tottenham and Kebano moved to Al Jazira, in UAE, at the expiration of their respective contracts.
Fulham have already signed Traore’s former team-mate Raul Jimenez from Wolves for a fee in the region of £5million, as well as Calvin Bassey from Ajax in a deal worth around £19m. “It’s a nice opportunity for me,” Traore said on his move. “Another chapter. I like the club, I also have information from Raul, who seems to love the club.“I’m thrilled to welcome Adama Traore to Fulham Football Club,” Fulham sporting director Tony Khan added. “He’s an explosive and powerful winger with great pace, and he has tremendous experience in the Premier League.
“He’s a player with whom we are very familiar, and he’s been on the opposing side of our team on numerous occasions; I believe that he’ll be a great addition to Marco ’s squad.”
