A TV legend has been forced to pull out of an upcoming Only Fools and Horses event due to his health. Sir David Jason played Derek Trotter in the BBC One show, and in October 2023 he was due to take part in the 'Meet Sir David Jason Convention" in Milton Keynes.
The event has been organised by The Only Fools and Horses Appreciation Society, who took to Facebook on Saturday, August 12 to confirm Sir David must undergo a procedure, however, they did not specify what it was, reports My London. The Appreciation Society also shared a statement from Sir David who apologised for disappointing Only Fools and Horses fans.
"These events are such an enjoyable celebration for myself and the rest of the Only Fools cast, and it is such a privilege to meet so many of you, but I want to do it with the smile on my face I always have had." Sir David signed off the statement by saying: "Once again, please accept my sincere apologies as it was not a decision I took at all lightly and I hope that you understand my situation.
