The pain of losing his boy is still raw for Gerry McQinlay.

A dad who was once an avid Celtic FC fan says he does not visit Celtic Park as often as he used toafter his 24-year-old boy died in a tragic car crash.

His dad, Gerry, a season ticket holder, says the pain of losing his son is still as raw many years later. Gerry, 59, from Priesthill, said: "We are still devastated, you don’t forget and have memories every day. Some of my best memories with him were watching football, going to Florida and other places on holiday.

"Since he passed away, I’ve hardly been but have still got my season tickets. It’s not the same anymore for me because I’ve not got my right hand man beside me."
