Actor David Rees, who is popularly known for his role as Chris Welman in the Afrikaans soapieHis manager Corlia Strauss told the publication that Rees was with his friends when he had the heart attack; an ambulance was called, and they contacted his sister.
This stay at a private hospital has now forced the family to ask for help with his medical costs. Rees, who is in need of a double bypass surgery doesn’t have medical aid and this has placed physical strain, as well as emotional and financial burdens, on his family.
