A man is in custody after Garland police and paramedics responded to three fentanyl overdoses Tuesday at the Firewheel Town Center, authorities said Thursday.and medical attention from the Garland Fire Department. They are now recovering at a hospital, according to police.
Two of the overdoses were at the TGI Fridays in the 200 block of Coneflower Drive, and the other was at the nearby AMC theater.Police said investigators determined 19-year-old Erik Santos supplied fentanyl pills to the three teenagers and arrested him on three counts of delivery of a controlled substance causing serious bodily injury. He was being held in the Garland jail, and it was unclear whether he had an attorney.
