Amy Dowden has been seen breaking down in tears while wearing a cold cap as she undergoes chemotherapy treatment. The Strictly Come Dancing star has been bravely sharing updates on her journey after revealing she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
While hoping for a less aggressive form of treatment so she could return to Strictly later this year, at the end of last month, Amy shared how she was dealt a "massive blow" when she confirmed doctors found "more tumours" and another type of cancer as her new course of treatment means she won't be able to compete in the hit show.
"I hardly slep," she started to type alongside her post. "Broke down into tears as soon as I got in the room. Port has been a success. Cold cap on. So far coping and not as bad as I thought with cold cap."
