The 33-year-old man was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital after a one-vehicle collision involving his Ducati Panagle Sports motorbike, that took place on the A891 Campsie Road between Lennoxtown and Milton of Campsie, at 8.50pm on August 1.The road was closed while crash investigations were carried out and fully reopened around 3.35am this morning .Police are now appealing for information into the crash.

Sergeant Jack Swindells said: “Our enquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstances of this crash. “I would urge anyone who may have seen the vehicle involved prior to the incident, or who has any dash-cam footage, to come forward.“In addition, anyone who may have been driving in the area around this time is asked to contact police.”

Anyone with information should call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference 3816 of 1 August, 2023.
