The Philippines logged 100 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, according to the latest data from the Department of Health.

The increase pushed the nationwide caseload to 4,173,142, while the country’s active cases now stand at 4,035. This is slightly lower than the 4,231 cases monitored on Monday.In the last 14 days, Metro Manila registered the highest number of new cases with 521. It was followed by Central Luzon with 331, Calabarzon with 315, Ilocos Region with 188; and Western Visayas with 183.Meanwhile, 4,625 individuals were tested for the virus on Monday, July 31.
