The Office of the Vice President (OVP) and the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for a P10-million supplemental funding to support the OVP’s Medical Assistance Program (MAP).

Vice President Sara Duterte witnessed the agreement signing between the Office of the Vice President and the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office on the supplemental funding for the OVP's medical assistance program.

“The grant will be used by the OVP for the sole purpose of providing assistance for healthcare services to clients under the MAP covering hospital bills, dialysis treatment, medicines, laboratory and diagnostic procedures, implants and other medical and assistive devices, chemotherapy, brachytherapy, radiation, physical, speech, and occupational therapy,” the OVP said in a statement on Saturday, July 29.

This was witnessed by Vice President Sara Duterte, PCSO members, and officials at the OVP Central Office in Mandaluyong City. Those who wish to avail of the program’s benefits can get free public assistance application forms from the OVP Central Office and the OVP Extension Offices in Lipa, Batangas and Tondo, Manila.
