Workers in Ondo State have urged Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu who has been battling ill-health for a while to ensure full recuperation before resuming

The workers represented by the state Chairmen of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Oladele Victor Amoko, the Joint Negotiating Committee, JNC, Olapade Ademola and the Trade Union Congress, TUC, Clement Fatuase, in a statement issued on Thursday emphasised that the full recovery of the governor is of utmost priority.abroad a few days ago, is scheduled to return home on July 6, 2023, according to a letter he sent to the Ondo State House of Assembly.

They said the Governor holds a special place in the hearts of the workers, for what they described as his dedication and commitment to the state. The workers also extended their support and solidarity to Akeredolu, assuring him of their unwavering backing throughout his recovery process and pledged to continue working diligently in their respective capacities to contribute to the growth and development of the state.

“Although we miss his competent administrative decisions and interventions, we are confident in his imminent safe return.
