On Wednesday, officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service's patrol services unit responded to the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre after a 911 call.
Police say that their investigation revealed that the accused spat in the face of the victim, who was taken to hospital as a precaution.None of the allegations have been tested in court and Nemeth is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
