Proposed class\u002Daction lawsuit filed against city hall, Vancouver Coastal Health and a non\u002Dprofit, alleging mismanagement of area overdose prevention site.

Last month’s petition and the new proposed class-action were both filed by the same lawyer, Craig Ferris of the law firm Lawson Lundell. He refused to comment.

Wilson has owned and lived in a condo on Seymour Street, about a block away from the overdose prevention site, for about 10 years. “I’m not against overdose prevention. … I’m not even against safe supply, but the way that we’re doing it is crazy,” Wilson said. “If you disagree with me, just go and watch the reality on the ground for 20 minutes and see what you think. … We’re not helping these people at all.”Article content
