Tennis legend Martina Navratilova has thanked medical staff after revealing she is now cancer free.
The 66-year-old 18-time Grand Slam singles champion declared she has the"all clear" from her doctors and expressed her gratitude in a tweet on Monday."Thank you to all the doctors, nurses, proton and radiation magicians etc- what a relief:) #byebyecancer :) and yes, #f***cancer !!!"in January and previously underwent treatment for early-stage breast cancer in 2010.
At the time, she said:"This double whammy is serious but still fixable, and I'm hoping for a favourable outcome.In March, in an interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored on TalkTV, the 18-time Grand Slam singles champion said that her doctors gave her the all clear from throat and breast cancer.
