A Place in the Sun's terminally ill Jonnie Irwin shares his Father's Day pics

A Place in the Sun star Jonnie Irwin has shared photos of what he called the "best Father's Day ever", despite his terminal cancer diagnosis.

He told his followers how much he had loved his Sunday with family, writing: "Had The best Father’s Day ever. Breakfast of Chocolate Guinness cake baked expertly my brilliant wife then cards from the boys and visit from my brother in law for a brief pillion ride back in time to enjoy some of the highs and lows of the Ashes ending in more cake with more family washed down by a drop of champers.

Another person wrote: "Think of you every day Jonnie. You are giving your boys memories of a wonderful, brave daddy."Jonnie was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer in 2020 and although he was told he probably had six months left, he has outlived doctors' expectations.
