Under the new bill, the maximum value of a vehicle will be capped at $22,500 for the first vehicle and $8,700 for any subsequent vehicle to qualify for SNAP benefits.

Greg Abbott Monday.Current Texas rules cap the maximum value of a vehicle at $15,000 for the first vehicle and $4,650 for the second or additional vehicles to qualify for SNAP benefits.
