The nonprofit organizations are still working out the days and times the classes will be offered, but the plan is to begin them in August, according to Popeye’s Boxing Gym CEO of Operations Craig Haines, who also coaches at the gym.

about Popeye’s last year, the LeBron James Family Foundation decided the gym could make a good partner organization. The foundation spent six months interviewing the gym’s coaches and learning more about it to ensure it was a good fit, according to Haines.

Though Popeye’s hasn’t started fitness and boxing classes for I Promise and House Three Thirty students, teachers and staff yet, excitement is growing at the gym, according to Haines.
