Cashiers tell customers if you use self serve, don't come in asking if we will hire your kid,if you are not going to demand actual human contact an services.

They are killing jobs, hiring less cashiers,less staff. Which means no jobs! Technology is distroying jobs that put food on tables and benifts that keep us healthy!

Not if grocery stores keep jacking up prices because importing food is $$. Pricing themselves into extinction. Ppl are going local for better quality at same prices and growing their own food more. Be nice to grow our own food year round with heated green houses, creating jobs.

Missing from this piece is how grocery delivery services benefit disabled persons and how grocery shopping is an anxiety-laden experience for people with eating disorders, who feel shame around using public assistance funds, or who can’t afford to buy the groceries they need.
