A Monmouth County school district joins others in New Jersey filing lawsuits against social media companies over the youth mental health crisis.

“The social emotional well-being of our children is of the utmost importance, and that’s what we’re doing,” said Matawan-Aberdeen Regional Superintendent Joseph Majka. “We’re being proactive.” Majka cited the U.S. Surgeon General’s recent report that issued a warning about the effects of social media.
