I have no problem with Al Pacino becoming a father again at 83 as long as he didn’t lie to his girlfriend about his age. He may not live to see all of his grandchildren, but that’s a risk any octogenarian father knows he’s taking. If the child is taught CPR at an early age, he or she can become an invaluable medical companion. However, if Pacino plans to get married, he should do so relatively soon. Sometime in the next decade or so he will cease to be one of America’s most eligible bachelors.
Shame on both arrogant Justin Trudeau and his rapporteur, David Johnston, for causing this fiasco. Trudeau’s continual refusal to call a public inquiry has created this by putting his friend Johnston in a precarious position. With his close connections to the Trudeau family going back decades and associations with China, Johnston should never have accepted the rapporteur position. Johnston now finds himself at the centre of a political storm that simply refuses to dissipate.I can well imagine China must find this farcical approach to its interference in our democracy comical and not concerning.
