Throughout June, the exterior of Methodist Hospital will be illuminated in a purple hue all month long to honor all cancer survivors.

SAN ANTONIO -

Over 18 million Americans have bravely fought the battle of beating cancer. Survivorship looks different for all individuals on their journey. An individual is considered a cancer survivor from the moment they first undergo treatment or if they are years past beating cancer, we celebrate all cancer survivors.

In June, if you would like to show your support, a lavender ribbon will signify your support for those living with all types of cancer. Methodist Hospital has numerous resources available to make sure that the patient, as well as their loved ones, feel the support, love, and feel guided throughout the patient's cancer journey. From coordinators, nurse navigators, and social workers, Methodist Hospitals advocate for its patients and the patient's families to feel helped and cared for through each step of the patient's cancer journey.
