Daily COVID-19 case average drops 22%, 9,107 sick last week READ MORE:

In its latest case bulletin, the DOH recorded 1,301 daily infections, a 366-case decrease from the 1,667 recorded between May 22 to 28.Ten deaths were verified during the past week with three of them occurring from May 22 to June 4.

At least 78,443,972 or 100.4 percent of the country’s target population have been vaccinated against Covid-19, including 82.16 percent of 8,721,357 senior citizens, as of March 19.To date, the country has logged 4,148,401 million COVID-19 cases and 66,476 deaths since January 2020. This is the 12th straight week that the number of weekly cases is above 1,000, according to the ABS-CBN Investigative and Research Group.

This is 1 percent higher than the previous week, or 5 admissions more than last week’s 554 cases, ABS-CBN IRG added.
