Officers said the pony was unwilling to stand when they arrived because its hooves hadn't been clipped for such a long period of time.

According to police, they received a complaint in November 2022 regarding a pony that was being neglected, as its hooves were extremely long and untrimmed. An officer and a member of the Humane Society visited the residence of the owner and found that the pony was lying down and needed immediate medical attention.
