Addiewell Prison has reportedly been 'locked down' on Thursday, after several members of staff were 'rushed to hospital' following a health-related incident.
Prison bosses said they are currently dealing with a health-related incident, however, refused to comment on the claims that staff members had fallen ill. "A prisoner started burning some sort of drug and started taking a fit and being sick. Everyone that went to help him also went down too, so staff were lying on the floor. They’re all at the hospital now and the prisoner is there too. He's in a really bad way.
