Our system is broken, and yet media is smearing PC’s efforts to fix this mess.... unbelievable

2019....WHY?🤷‍♂️

What’s the easiest way to get people to call for health care to begin to be made private? Sabotage the public system. Liberals. Conservatives. This has been happening for a long time. Wynn and McGuinty cut health care by the billions. Ford will cut it more

I Wait it from about 730pm night until 4 AM to be seen at , Scarborough general .

Give more money to healthcare... the most important thing on the list! Stop building skating rinks and wasting money on large rubber ducks at harbour front and give it to healthcare

It's unfortunate reality of our healthcare system. When you visit a hospital the most critical of patients are treated first. The rest wait. Fortunate for us in 2019 still doesn't cost you a dime to see a doctor. No where does it say you'll see one right away.

My father, my grandmother, my boyfriend and I have never had to wait in a hallway. We all went to hospital with real illnesses and had never had to wait for a bed, now that is changing. Thanks fat ford.

Im sure there are enough beds and rooms.. Just not enough staff; should be 1 focus for our province to fix.

I blame white people for wearing shorts in the winter, getting sick and crowding up the hallways

let us see if we can get this average down to 900 .... stay healthy

Always No Beds! I experienced this many times ! Also Emergency Waiting Time it’s Such a Hours...and hours...waiting! The Government Should do Something about this! It’s Ridiculous! All Hospitals in Ontario Need’s More Beds and Reduce Time for Patient to Waiting in EMERGENCY!

My hospital room was the hallway. Slept there, ate there...and used the bathroom across the hall. Great fucking system we have. This was Lakeridge Hospital in Oshawa, armpit of Canada.

Yep !!! Was at Scarborough general 😔 8 hours and we had to wait in the hallway at least 50 people

Went to ER for an internal bleeding. Waited about 5 hrs in a hallway and then moved to a room. Finally doctor checked next day around 11am and ordered immediate surgery. You can't even pay for a private room. No rooms are available.

We need to stop bragging about having 'free' healthcare in this country.

Maybe hospitals should be open 24/7. Tests are performed weekdays only except for emergency. So if patients aren’t discharged Friday, they get personal care only as opposed to medical care. This creates Backlog in emergency admissions.

Restructuring closed too many hospitals or converted to day care only. Big mistake. Must build to make more space needed.

The rooms in new wing at Joseph Brant are big enough to hold a min of two beds but instead they have one bed and a couch and a chair in it! Disgusting to know that the hospital is wasting so much space and then make patients stay in the hallway!

We were at Joseph Brant last month when they moved a senior (75) who had a room to the hallway as the hospital told him they needed his room! Then proceed to tell him he had to use a portable urinal while standing in the hallway!

Tore Meniscus, ACL, MCL 4 years ago and had to wait 2 months to get a consultation with a specialist. 8 months to get in the operating room Nah, this isn't new, Thanks Kathleen.

I’ve witnessed this lately visiting my Dad in the hospital. It’s sad seeing people in the hallways with no privacy during a difficult time.

We need more migrants and refugees

The liberal government created this mess.

Been there. I had a lovely 2 day stay in the hallways of Credit Valley in 2010.

I waiting 5 hours for my toddler to be seen at brampton civic for a fractured collarbone bone, and homie next to us was in because he ate a fucking apple and it went down to harsh. It’s not the hospital its stupid PEOPLE who like to go into the ER for minor issues.

Good thing we're taking in more and more new Canadians!

How bringing room service to hospitals can help patients heal | CBC RadioIt's not uncommon for people to complain about bland, unappetizing hospital food. But a growing number of hospitals in Canada are pushing back against this stereotype, overhauling menus to be locally sourced and delicious. | cbcwhitecoat cbcwhitecoat Here's an idea. Two menus. One for the sickly folk who can't have salt etc and one for normal folk who like flavours. The slop served at Peace Arch I wouldn't give to a dog. Gross. cbcwhitecoat My step-father-in-law recently had an extended stay in a GTA area hospital. He was a diabetic & this was a normal meal given to him at the hospital. (Every item has sugar) Our hospitals need to do better. Honestly, an “all beef hotdog with a bun, ordered off a menu” is not better cbcwhitecoat Yrs ago I spent 10 days in a military hospital. Talk about bad food. I got to order my food but they kept mixing up my food w/the other person in isolation. Almost every meal I was served coffee & I don't drink coffee.
