HSE says up to 6,000 women will need repeat smear testsThe Health Service Executive has confirmed that up to 6,000 women will likely be called for a repeat smear test following the identification of an issue with HPV tests. The HSELive are a disgrace! Lives mean nothing to the high rollers on the payroll! They don't even care about the nurses who are the main ones who keep there hospitals open! Most services are not available, ones that are, are full of serious flaws! HSEBoard HSEShambles I had my repeat smear in December. I was told by the practice nurse that it takes SEVEN MONTHS for results. SEVEN MONTHS?! Even if there are abmormal or cancerous cells, a woman in Ireland won't find out for at least SEVEN MONTHS!? What kind of system is that? HSELive Hopefully women will not need smear tests in the future as they would have been vaccinated!
