The rationale for patient selection was to include all patients who received a full-arch reconstruction during a specific time interval at the clinic. This time interval was chosen so as to include the very first patient who received this treatment and all consecutive patients treated in the same way up to a given date, which allowed for the collection of at least 24 months of follow-up data for the orthopantomography evaluation.
Radiographic screening was performed using OPG and cone beam computed tomography. A careful clinical examination of the patients was performed assessing jaw size and relations, bone volume, and occlusal relations. The patients included at the Clinic Eska and Ev Dent clinics were treated by surgeons .The surgical procedures were performed under local anesthesia which comprised articaine hydrochloride and epinephrine .
