Scientists say blood pressure remains a major cause of heart attacks and strokes.
The study included a sample size containing a total of 212,046 adults between the age of 37 to 73 years who were without hypertension. It said they were tracked for an average of 12 years. The study went further to say that the likelihood of developing high blood pressure rose by 33% in those with a high genetic risk who spent at least 30 minutes a week talking on a mobile phone.Lead author of the research, Professor Xianhui Qin said, “It’s the number of minutes people spend talking on a mobile that matters for heart health, with more minutes meaning greater risk.”
