A U of T researcher investigating the future of AI in medicine weighs in on how the technology could shorten hospital wait times

St. Mike’s, for example, has started using a program called Chart Watch, which lets clinicians know if there’s a patient who’s at risk of rapidly deteriorating and therefore needs a bit more care. But, overall, Canada is lagging behind.
