It took a viral video that led to "hurtful" comments for Zanee Johnson to finally get on top of her struggles with weight. She had tried countless diet plans over the years, but nothing stuck.
In May 2022, Zanee, 39, got stuck in a giant deckchair at a Haven holiday park. The video, which also featured her mum, Susan Thompson, of her struggling to get out went viral online, amassing two million views, reports the M.E.N. “As we went to get out, we struggled – but I think anyone would struggle! It was really hurtful because we’d not long been out of lockdown - I’d suffered with mental health through it like a lot of people did.
Zanee, from Northwich in Cheshire, joined Beeweighed in late January 2023 with a goal of losing five stone. She's lost two stone so far and now weighs just over 15 stone, going from a dress size 22 to a 16.
