Cinnamon is also reputed to help diminish low feelings and tiredness, along with clove essential oils which helps with warming and stimulating,” Alice says.

For those looking for an aphrodisiac, Alice suggests using a combination of scents. “Ylang ylang is a flowery, sweet and erotic scent. Patchouli, my all time favourite essential oil, has a deep and earthy scent. I combine patchouli and sweet orange to make a gorgeous soap.”
