GMB presenter Eamonn Holmes has updated fans of his rehab as he learns to walk again following surgery for chronic back pain which he had struggled with for years

Eamonn Holmes said he is "desperate for results" despite his "slow progress" after recovering from a serious fall.

But during his recovery he suffered a set back when he fell down a spiral staircase and required further surgery after injuring his shoulder. Speaking on GMB in January after the fall, he told viewers he had bee "set back". He added: "My leg gave way and I fell down 18 stairs." The TV veteran penned: "Training with my eyes closed . It's all about regaining my balance. Hard work made harder balancing on one leg."
