Clinical psychologist, Portia Monnapula-Mazabane says more and more people are feeling hopeless and frustrated.

People are struggling to find the light in these dark times. Rolling blackouts are having a detrimental effect on mental health. It's increasing anxiety and depression levels in the country. That's according to the latest survey by the SA Depression and Anxiety Group, SADAG. Clinical psychologist, Portia Monnapula-Mazabane spoke to eNCA.

"You find that with these power cuts comes the disruption of the stability. You know for us as human beings to be functional, we have to have mastery over our day-to-day functioning," she said.

Add to this the water woes,which is following tge same pattern that Eskom has. KZN has sewer contaminated potable water Gauteng has Rand Water that is in a total mess. Incomoetemcy,corruption &sabotage all involved once again.

It has really messed up many peoples mental health, some more than others. Loadshedding is the pits!
