Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, however, is the portion of marijuana generally known to give some users a"high," which is why it is regulated by the state and requires a prescription based on medical need. Despite this side effect, medical marijuana patients are prescribed the drug for relief of their symptoms, including pain and muscle spasticity.
A House committee in late March unanimously approved the bill presented by state Rep. Stephanie Klick , which would boost the maximum allowable THC level in medical marijuana from 1 percent to 5 percent and allow the Department of State Health Services to add additional qualifying conditions. Low THC is derived from the plant Cannabis Sativa L, according to the state's website."All parts of the plant and any resulting compounds, salts, resins, oils and derivatives that contain no more than 0.5 percent by weight of THC are considered Low-THC," it says.
Medical use of these prescribed doses of low THC can only be swallowed, not smoked, according to current law.

It just needs to be legalized nationally. No reason at this point to keep it illegal when so many other states have legalization.
They could just stop the bullshit and legalize it but then what excuse would they have to jail their political opponents?
Making it legal is the only correct solution
There is nothing compassionate about Texas' 'compassionate use' bill. And the plant imgs are misleading: you can only ingest edibles. We're stuck poisoning ourselves with Delta-8. 3% △9-THC? Why bother. It's not therapeutic. It does not relieve pain. It causes headaches.
Hey old whites in the Texas House if you invest in Marijuana and make it legal you could millions if you legalize it. Just saying.
Saved you a click👍
