The Minister of Health says the transition to one provincial health authority is going relatively smoothly.over the weekend. Tom Osborne says there have been no issues as the process of transferring all records continues.

All health records will enter a new health information system that will allow them to be accessed by any medical professional in the province. Osborne says with the current system, it’s impossible for professionals to access records of patients outside their district. That makes it difficult for many patients outside of Eastern Health who have to travel to St. John’s to receive specific services.

With just one regional health authority, they will not need as many office-based staff, but Osborne says no-one will be left without a job. He says there is a demand for people working a number of similar jobs with government and anyone who is being cut from their current position will be offered another job comparable to their last position.

They are legalized crooks

Don’t forget the pay off this Gov as well as 4 other provinces got to sell our Data from our mafia PM !

You can get a copy of all your medical information up to 20 years by email or in person. and then request they delete all your records . It’s safer then allowing them to sell it . Remember your address ia part of your records.

Chinese servers will safely store all our data, honest.

Also we should be able to a access test, X-rays, blood work, etc. most provinces do through a portal system.

Any new Information on all that personal info that was stolen? No? Ok

Most incompetent gvmt ever elected in NL

is that whitey from the central dairies milk cartons. i was wondering what happened to him

How many patients' records will disappear in that new system?🏥🏥🏥🏥🏥🏥

- No Digital ID'S

I don't recall giving consent for my medical records being transfered, and given the cyber attack, they are more vulnerable in a central system The stupidity of my province never ceases to amaze me For security, we can request a copy of our records & delete everything on file.

There is many questions that should be asked and answered concerning this. Let’s not forget this government agreed to give away our medical information for 100 million dollars . What’s to say he never sold our personal information with it.

I think this should not be allowed without the consent of the patients ! How do we know this sham Health Authorities are not sending out our Medical information to other provinces that have no business knowing my personal medical information ?

Ok call me skeptic, they merged with no problems, but yet their system was hack, a door left open for some hacker to walk right in, how safe is the new security system, hopefully they learn from the hack, just because they merge doesn’t add more staff, we still have shortages 🤪
