A Survey reveals 51% of people are unhappy with the healthcare service - and it's not restricted to just the public. Separate findings revealed almost 80% of NHS workers are considering quitting the service altogether.

Accident and emergency departments have seen a sharp increase in the percentage of dissatisfied respondents, with a record 40% saying they are unhappy, according to analysis by the Nuffield Trust and The King's Fund.

The results “should not be seen as a judgement of the efforts of frontline staff to recover services in the wake of the pandemic but rather, a sign that the NHS is not being given what it needs to fully deliver for its local communities”. The majority also said patients are experiencing medication errors, delays in procedures and compromised quality of care as a result.thousands of NHS staff are striking with demands for better pay and improved working conditionsAnabela De Barros, a recovery nurse working in London, told Sky News the pandemic left many NHS staff deeply traumatised.

"We've had Brexit, COVID and now the war in Ukraine has made the cost of living so high. We are just tired. We are exhausted. And it doesn't seem like it is going to get better any time soon." Despite the high levels of dissatisfaction with how services are operating, the public continues to show strong support for the principles underpinning the NHS.But more than eight in 10 believe there is a major or severe funding problem for the service.

EdwardJDavey Says the man wanting net zero then drives a diesel powered tractor through straw bales😂

EdwardJDavey Government is well aware of problems with the NHS. It has higher funding and more medical staff than ever before and yet it treats fewer patients than ever before. Does Davey have any solutions to offer, or is he staying with sniping from the sidelines?

EdwardJDavey Kay Burley and the rest of the liberal elite live on another planet

EdwardJDavey They should maybe be unhappy with the tory government not the nhs. He knows this. It is not the nhs fault they are being defined, their staffing levels have dropped to levels where they cannot do their roles properly.

Another nail in the coffin of the NHS,don't worry it will all be over and no more NHS to clap about!!!!

NHS is being run down deliberately forcing people to go private. It’s all about making money for politicians and party donors. NH$ 😱

It could be worse. You could have the inferior system used in the Ununited States.

It won’t be long until the Tory propaganda machine (GBeebies, Harwood, Hartley-Brewer etc) are out in force to discredit the NHS because it doesn’t suit the Tories plans to privatise it.

The NHS is in a chronic condition. Many areas are unsafe and a significant number of staff are so burned out, tired or disillusioned, that they are not working safely. Some of them are even passing on their frustration to vulnerable patients by verbally abusing them.

I've had a lot of interaction with the NHS lately. The staff are superb and bloody tired. It's the CONservative government (government ... what a joke), that are the damned problem. Pay these people properly and fund the NHS properly

This is a necessary development in order to sweeten the demolition of the NHS in favour of US-style PrivateHealth. But most people who are 'Unhappy' with it are aware of this.

The problem with the NHS isn't the doctors or nurses, it's the people that run it. The directors and the people behind the scenes are the problem. Doctors and nurses always do their best. They work harder than corporate but get paid much less. That is why the NHS is failing

We're upset at all the Tory underfunding, mismanagement, and tomfoolery that has been causing a long, slow crash of the NHS, not the NHS itself
