LEGAZPI CITY, Albay — The management and medical staff of Bicol Regional Hospital and Medical Center , formerly known as Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital, held its inauguration of its Menopause Clinic on Thursday, March 16.
In line with the celebrations of National Women’s Month, the BRHMC held the opening of the Menopause Clinic which will cater to the problems encountered by women in their pre, during and after menopause stages.Dr. Vaneza VL. Penolio, Medical Specialist III /Reproductive,Endocrinology and Infertility Specialist, told the media in a press conference during the inauguration said that menopause is not an illness.
“It is actually a journey of every woman. A phenomenon in which every woman experiences throughout 1/3 of their lives,” Penolio said.
